ULTIMATE RECORDS is a label and an artist collective in which three Zurich-based artists - Ian Anüll, Luigi Archetti and Marc Zeier - are involved.The artists see themselves as a nucleus for daring acoustic manifestations and a happy disruption to general art expectations. They have already appeared and attracted attention in various art exhibitions and art spaces. All three are visual artists with a professional, strong relationship to acoustics, sound and music (experimental music, electronica, field recordings).

Their projects are either purely "musical productions" in the form of LP releases or oscillate within the interface between the visual and sonic worlds in the form of interdisciplinary installations and exhibitions.

The three artists have realised a project at Kunstraum Klingental in which overarching dimensions of the medium of image and sound can be experienced and thus an expansion of thinking about sound, sound and image will come to the fore. The focus will be on the visual and acoustic dimensions and their interaction with each other.

The exhibition is a hybrid being in which musical, visual and spatial elements come together. However, it is not a combination, a parallel interaction of several artistic genres, but something independent in an empty space between music, art and performative elements.

The exhibition space is understood as a "collective score" in which visual exhibits (pictures, videos, drawings, LP covers) and acoustic events (sound objects, records) are brought together. (sound objects, records, sound performances) will stand for a polyphonic, space-spanning overall composition.

ULTIMATE RECORDS ist ein Label und ein Künstlerkollektiv, in dem sich die drei in Zürich lebenden Künstler Ian Anüll, Luigi Archetti und Marc Zeier als Nukleus für gewagte akustische Manifestationen und eine fröhliche Störung der allgemeinen Kunsterwartungen verstehen. Sie sind bereits in verschiedenen Kunstausstellungen und Kunsträumen aufgetreten und aufgefallen. Alle drei sind bildende Künstler mit einer professionellen, starken Beziehung zu Akustik, Klang und Musik (experimentelle Musik, Electronica, Field Recordings).

Ihre Projekte sind entweder reine "Musikproduktionen" in Form von LP-Veröffentlichungen oder oszillieren an der Schnittstelle zwischen der visuellen und der klanglichen Welt in Form von interdisziplinären Installationen und Ausstellungen.

Im Kunstraum Klingental haben die drei Künstler ein Projekt realisiert, in dem übergreifende Dimensionen des Mediums Bild und Ton erfahrbar werden und somit eine Erweiterung des Denkens über Klang, Ton und Bild in den Vordergrund tritt. Der Fokus liegt auf der visuellen und akustischen Dimension und deren Wechselwirkung miteinander.

Die Ausstellung ist ein Hybridwesen, in dem musikalische, visuelle und räumliche Elemente zusammenkommen. Es handelt sich jedoch nicht um eine Kombination, ein paralleles Zusammenspiel mehrerer künstlerischer Gattungen, sondern um etwas Eigenständiges in einem Leerraum zwischen Musik, Kunst und performativen Elementen.

Der Ausstellungsraum wird als eine "kollektive Partitur" verstanden, in der visuelle Exponate (Bilder, Videos, Zeichnungen, LP-Cover) und akustische Ereignisse (Klangobjekte, Schallplatten) zusammengeführt werden. (Klangobjekte, Schallplatten, Klangperformances) stehen für eine polyphone, raumübergreifende Gesamtkomposition.
